All About Her
Last night we had a lengthy chat over Whatsapp where my fingers were numbed for numerous times due to the constraint hand phone typing space, particulars after using Hanyupinyin. Somehow or rather I sensed that we can actually communicate in our way. However, she highlighted that currently she has a boyfriend (Which I'd expected). It's a respectful confession before we continue our friendship. It's also a good sign to let someone from the opposite sex you are seeing to know that you already had a partner. At the same time, keep an open mind set on what's coming without doing anything unfaithful towards your other half.
That's the beauty of a relationship, having to trust each other while not restricting them to pursue for better opportunity. I also believe that what's yours, will jolly well be yours and what's not, will never be yours. That doesn't mean you don't treasure her existence and moments with her. It's about spreading your arms to let go something that isn't yours in the end. After a total failure in a serious relationship a few years back, I tend to take such an approach in a causal manner. Relationship is like maintaining a rental contract, you will never know when will there be a dispute over the contract detail and when the contract expires, it's time to find a new tenure.
She had headed back to Malaysia and really looking forward to chat with her over the phone, bearing in mind that she has a boyfriend. Not a third party who destroy relationship but always believe 'best man wins'. Should see how it goes before the next cause of action. ;)

Finally she replied
Lifting my courage to send her a SMS and it took her 5 hours 23 mins before she replied. This is seriously insane and I was fully relief when she replied. What am I doing all these? But to say that the encounter was such a BEAUTY and I just hope this feeling will extend further. Definitely not in love with her but I'm someone who naively believe in fate even at my old age. I trusted my intuition and I'm trying to befriend her, without motive, threats or ill objective. It's always started from friendship and I'm not hoping for anything. She might be a mutual friend or simply just a passerby as time goes by. We never know what destiny will lead you to, at least you tried and there's no regret.
We were exchanges out replies in Mandarin language and I had a hard time replying Chinese character based on 'Hanyupinyin'. However, my first impression to her shouldn't be detestable, that's the most crucial factor for strangers, else she wouldn't reply. I'm half-way victorious and will keep an open mind. Stay tune for more update soon!

Cousin's 21st Birthday
Yesterday was quite an astonishing and embarrassing night for me. I was at my cousin 21st birthday party at Aloha Changi where I met this lady in an unique fashion. She's my cousin's colleague and I have to admit that I did take notice of her the moment I stepped into the chalet. She was difference among the rest of my cousin friends.
Things took a big twist where my relatives were all drunk. They start making fun of me (I'm one of the single guy around) and urged me to pick one of the lady among the rest. My auntie said one of the girl (That I'd mentioned earlier) was well-mannered and look presentable. The rest of the drunkard relative followed suit. I was humiliated for almost an hour or so before my cousin bring her to me and we done a hand-shake, I was so embarrassed and shy when all my relatives were looking at us.

Her name is Kitt, a 20 years old Malaysian. My uncle told us to make friends and she was very brave, following with the flow. She came up to me and introduced herself. I was so shocked with her approach and with the surge of my sheepishness towards a strange girl, I acknowledged our friendship. Still, it did not stop the continuous teasing from relative. The highlight of the saga reached its climate when my uncle asked my numbers from my cousin. He took a tissue paper and wrote down my contacts, name with a smiley face and in-turn passed it to Kitt. She turn up and was standing across me while dialing my numbers (I'd switched to silent mode then). My phone vibrated and I act as if she had dialed the wrong numbers. She was so daring (better than me at least).
I bid good bye to her in person before I started messaging her while I was on my way back home. Apologetic for my relatives nonsense and she indicated that it's ok. I'm such a coward and I guess that I'd lost contact with making contacts with a person of opposite sex. What should I do with the numbers? Still hesitating on my next action. What should be the correct way to approach her? ARGH!

Twenty Eight
Today marks my 28 years existence in this universal world. I do not have much wishes but to bless my family with health and harmony. Well, next year will be my last 20's celebration and I can't believe that I will hit the 30's soon when my mind/looks still in the early 20's (Hee Hee). Physical appearance do not determine your age but It's how you FEEL and live the way you are.
To sum up this beautiful day, here's a quick statistic of me:
Name: Hendry (Christian), How Tat (English), Hao Da (Mandarin), Haaziq (Malay)
Age: 28 year old

Morning Movie
Woke up in the early morning and thought it's time for a movie. Gonna catch the Johnny English Reborn alone @ Lot 1 Shoppers' Mall. Single-hood can always enjoy the privilege of freedom, yet I've lost faith in a relationship. Somehow I'm feeling empty inside, is that a norm?

Car Returning
After almost 5 months of driving my brother's car, its finally ended with an episode of quarreling this morning. I don't why we can't seen to communicate. He is simply unreasonable in his doings and with his arrogant approach. Why in this world I will have a brother who behaves like a hooligan? It's a matter of time before we quarrel just like how I return his car a few years ago. Thought a bit not used to it, but unexpected things just happen when you least expected it. LRT on the later night shift. Hope I can cope the life of that.

6th mensiversary ('I QUIT')
I'm finally celebrating my 6th mensiversary of smoking cessation TODAY. It's 184 days without a single puff and it's pretty amazing for someone like me, to be able to withstand all the temptations and say a big 'NO NO' to the nicotine inducement. I've come this far and I know it's really not easy. At times, I'll have the thought of trying-out and de-stressing. However, I know it's my mind which is playing me out and call off the idea almost instantaneously. Uncertainly to discover the new source of motivation and I don't what's disciplining me not to smoke.
I tried to motivate people around me to quit but never succeed. A lone ranger's battle against all odds. There are so many smokers around me and I guess I'm slowly adapting the environment of standing by smokers while they are puffing. Seriously I don't know if I have the determination/strength to continue the fight but I ought to offer myself a real chance to quit. Lately, I'm super addictive to alcohol (beer) and this phenomenal addiction is twisting my life waywardly. My next event will definitely be a beer-free campaign, soon to come....
