I fell down from my computer roller-functioned chair, leaning backward at an angle which I can't stop from falling. Nothing serious about that as I landed slowly on the carpet ground. I can remember having a major fall in the past. Notably when I was about 6-7 years old, my elder brother lifted me up with my feet stepping on his shoulders. I am not sure what kind of stun or idea he is up to. But I fell completely off his shoulder after making a straight stand and both of my legs were numbed for quite some time. Walking became a difficult task.
When I was primary school, I was playing in the bus with my neighbours, entered the bus using the emergency door lock and a patrol car approached us. The bunch of us have to reported to the Police Post nearby our house and do cleaning at the Police Post for a week. Police power was so great then when parents think it's a good thing to punish the naughty us.
I was ironing my secondary school uniform and randomly placed a freaking hot iron onto my side of my stomach with no apparent reason, I thought it has cooled down.Well, it left an iron-shaped scar for quite some time but eventually goes off. Thank god again that I do not have to explain to my future wife on what had happened whenever she lift my shirt.
Secondary school got canned twice for mistreating teacher. Sec 2 got canned for pasting sweet wrapper with glue on a relief teacher and too much force was exerted, he felt the contact and when he turned around, the wrapper fell off like a fallen tree. 2 stroke of class canning for that, I was named as a hero in class because the teacher make us stand up and down as a form of punishment, everyone in class felt justice was served to that idiotic teacher. Not long before, make another relief teacher crying and I turned the computer chair against her while she scolding the class. The next day, I was called to the school assembly and announced by the discipline master as 'He make the teacher cry.' Everyone in the hall was like WOW WOW WOW. With that, I was rewarded with another 2 stroke of class canning.
At 17, I was engaging in a family dispute and dashing out of the door in front of my parents without bringing any clothing with me. Spent the entire night outside at Bukit Panjang Park, lying on the wooden plank and thinking of a place of lodging. Just about 5-6 hours, gave up the thought and returned back home, I considered that as 'run away from home.' Failed Mission.
When I was 25, I was cycling in pulau ubin, cycling down from a steep slope with a sharp turn angle. My bicycle totally lost control in a fast speed and I fell off the cliff which was reasonably deep but not enough to kill me. I remember dipping into the bushes beneath and while falling, I could not feel the ground for quite some time. Bang! I was alive and sustained abrasions across my leg and hands. Thank goodness, Ti-Gong Po Pi.
I was blogging in 2009 on work related matters when my post became newspaper articles for days. Overnight, I became a superstar in the Singapore Police Force.
So much unglam (not glamour!) things in life with more to come. But all these bits and pieces will reignite our sweet memories when we grow old and die.
So can you remember the best moments of your life till date?
