School Talk @ CCK Pri Sch

In my life, nv did I think that one day I might be up on the stage giving a presentation to over a thousand of students. 26/05/2006 @ about 1045hrs, I arrived at Choa Chu Kang Primary School, I knew that I will be the main focus for the day in the school situated at Choa Chu Kang Ave 2. There will be 2 sessions of Crime prevention presentation @ 1050hrs and 1300hrs. I arrived at the school hall, holding on bags of gift consisting of water bottle, mug and some little gift from my NPC. At the end of presentation, there will b a quiz consisting of a few qns. Back to the hall, groups of little boys and gers rushed towards me before the start of presentation. I suppose that they were having some PE lesson on the hall with some netball and basketball game. One by one shaked my hand. At one time I felt that I was a superstar attracting their attention. Yes, man in blue received a warm welcome.

I hold my breathe tightly as I proceed to the main stage, sch personnel was setting up the powerpoint with classes arriving the hall in order. To my knowledge, the 1st talk will be entertained by students of pri 3 - pri 6. 1200 of students awaiting my speech to be delivered. The atmosphere down there was tense when the DM handed over the mic to me. One thing on my mind was "no matter what, I have to deliver." I opened my golden mouth by greeting the students. "good morning to the students of choa chu kang primary school, I am glad to be here for a crime prevention talk, first of all I would like to thank the school of giving me the opportunity to be here. Without further ado, I will brief u on the content of my presentaton. But before I start on, lets have some question to be answer."

I asked them the exact location of cck npc, ramdomly, I picked some students to the front to answer the qns. Alot of students raised their hand, some was really cute. When I picked on them, they were shocked, some was in a shocked mode and kept shaking their head, and some eagerly rushed up to the front. I was surprise to hear some funny ans from the students. Some said cck npc located at jurong west, one of the girl even said its located at toa payoh. I replied to the crowd aft the little girl had answered. "CCK NPC located at toa payoh, is it possible?" Great response from the crowd and they yelling "NO NO NO". It takes a few students to ans before the correct ans was being answered. In the midst of it, the gift that was meant to divided in 2 sessions was nearly given out in a session. The response was overwhelming, was really surprise to hear that the students nowdays was more active and approachable that the past. time haf changed and they r nt afraid of us, instead they were jumping up and dw to ans my qns.

I have to be honest that I was having a good speech, consider that this is my 1st presentation, my officer priased me for that and I was so delighted. After the 1st presentation, I was totally not anxious at all when it come to the lower pri presentation. I had overcome the fear in me bcos fear is a feeling that r not needed to be feel of. Its was a barrier that stopped u fr progressing. I had overcome mine and im proud to say that the overall performance was worth well earning a round of applause. Here's my colleague in cck npc. went to sakura international buffet @ downtown east. A farewell dinner to Herman that left the force. Salute to him*
He's nw back to where he come from - member of public. Heard that he has joined his family business and getting gd salary. All the best Herman.

The dinner ends with abit of sadness with colleague greet with wishes to him future endevours. But policeman wat, we tend nt to tink abt all these and presented ourself well. That's wat a call a police-ego. Once again wishing u all the best Hermat Amat (1999-2006)!

Election Fever

People Action Party (PAP) will be completing against the opposition party:Singapore Democratic Alliances (SDA),Singapore Democratic Patry (SDP) & Worker Party (WP) in the oncoming election 06 on the remaining 45 seats in parliments. Polling day will be on the 6th of May (public holiday). I was greatly affected and getting much more involved in the rally holds by the individual party fr 28th-5th May, after the nomination day (27th).So far attended two rally holds by SDP (bukit panjang) & SDA (Choa Chu Kang). It was tiring as both occassion falls under my 1st off. Din get enuff slp and down the rally site was standing and to make sure law and order. Some candidate has interesting speech to go along and yesterday was a rally talk by SDA candidate Steve Chia. Who's he? Someone interesting. The last election in 2001, he was elected as the non-consitituency member of parliment (NCMP) as he was the highest vote among the loser for the oppostion. He completed in cck too and had a vote of 30 over %. This time round, he was all out to go. He gained publicity over the years, fr the incident of taking of his nudity maid pic all the way of beating traffic light and involved in a road traffic accident. He was a bad boy and gt probation in his teens day. He was a problematic student way back in sch, but fr his yesterday rally, he was power in his speech and i tinks he stand a chance in his fight with PAP candidate Gan Kim Yong.

Over the last few days, too much political affairs & it was fruitful to say. Not much gers will be interested in polictical & when I told my girlfriend about this, she yawnz and pretending to knw. *Pinch ur nose* Not much time to accompnay her and where gt time to execise! getting fatter as days goes by. Trying to save up more $ to buy uZAp and Extrim tablets, for forgetting the iGallop.

Imaging 1 day putting up the UZAP around my waist and both hand holding extrim tablets, sitting on top of iGallop chair, shaking shaking....stuffing tablet in, more and more...roate the waist till its dislocate, that's the end of story.

Yes, 1st of April 2006, april fool's day. I've gt a Girlfriend's...Named Shirley Tan.


After 2 yrs + singlehood,im out of the picture. Finally I 'd stepped out the shadow of the past relationship. It's you who had influence my decision. You made me stand again and to believe in love? You told me it was worth while trying and no1 knw future will lies.

"Past was history, present is what up for grab and who knows what future lies?"

Still a long way to go I shld say, everything is too early to say. But seriously to speak, its been 18days and going. I'll try my best to give her the best and none the less. Still trying to get use of having a partner with me around. Hopefully I can get used to you by my side. This blog entry is delicated to you. You you you!

I love you and it goes without saying. I tink that I dun haf to put the 3 letter words by my mouth everyday, hopefully u can feel it emotionally. Let's try our very best in this relationship and It will never get sour as each day past by us. That is all I have to say, god bless you and I wan you to live each day a happy 1. U shld be seeing this entry soon, nth much to tell. It was all here that u wanted 2 see.

April's Fool Day

1st of April will be April's fool day. Still can rem back in Primary School, the common prank dat we will use will be "U dropped something" or "someone is calling u fr dat direction". Afterwhich the person who was so called "pranked" will look back to u. U say it out loud...APRIL's FOOL! then in sec sch, we will use a higher level of prank. Waiting in cls for the next lesson to start. Someone will shout out that teacher is proceeding and the cls will b quiet. Afterwhich the person who spread the news will say APRIL's FOOL. WHAHA..

Reali miz those day where nonsense r acceptable. Now in an adult stage. APRIL''s FOOL day is jz blogging here n telling u guys what's e history of APRIL's FOOL day...
