Just as some of you might not aware, the IMF-World Bank meeting which held in Singapore (S2006) during 14th-20th Sept is finally over. Delegates from 100+ countries arrived here for meetings and not forgetting the security coverage covered by Singapore Police Force. Damn it, really extra extra ordinary career. If u look at the Sept salary divided by the working hrs during this period of time, I shld say that its damn not worth it. All my off days were being recalled for my own division Anti Crime Ops, basically in short is to flood Police Officer's in Housing Estate n Shopping Centre to give the public the impression that even thought few thousands Police Officer's were involved in the IMF, there will still be police around to deter Crime. This is part of the management strategies.
Issuing of Vitamin C tablet to help us to maintain fitness n 2 avoid falling sick all the way from Letter of Commander to family of PO to notify the loves one on the busy schedule. Is that what we want? I think the best way to express the management sincerity is not just by giving a one day lieu off, but to add more months in the year end bonus for the job well done. Ya, add more, I will b more pleased with it.
it's been a long time since I last blog. Quite tiring n busy as mentioned above. No life, got numb with busy life. Now its time 2 relax for some soccer gaming n accompany gf. Wait till she nag again n more suffering will falls on me, "Oops". its been 5mths+ n still going. Quarrels still persist, lack of communication and understanding is the main concern. I learnt that communication is an impt factor when u talk abt relationship matters. Will try 2 b more sensitive in every comments voice out by YOU YOU YOU. ok?

4months and still going..Cigarettes call it a day..
It's been a long long period of time since I last blog. Lazy is the word to describe my feelings. I haf been going through rehabilition since 19/06/2006, the day I promised my gf to stop smking. I think its time to call an end to my friend of 5 years becos its too expensive to mixed ard with. My record since 19/06...
16.5 sticks of cigarettes for the past 12 days.
based on the past smoking days for me, on average 12 days I can smk 120 sticks. nw its 16.5, which mean I smk 103.5 sticks lesser for the past 12 days!! Stopped buying but still asking from friends. I can save $150 per month if I stopped this bad habit, so y not?I knw its hard and the journey to success is still a long way to go. But NV will I give up the chance and hope of saying gd bye to it. I MUST GRADUALLY CUT DOWN AND STOPPED SMOKING. I promised her le, but im proud to say that I did not smk infront of her for that 12days.
Anyway, happy 4mths dear!! I understand that this past few weeks we were having some communication breakdown but let's hope situation will get better as time goes by. Nothing much to say to u, u knw I knw god knws. thks for spending those wonderful days with me for the past 120days. Done with the blog, now I'm calling u.. =)

Happy Birthday's my dear...

18/06/2006 is my gf birthday's. I suppose this as an important event between us other then the valentine day, and lastly my brithday's. We went to Night Safari on the 17th evening and it was damn crowded, as we did not expect it to be in that way. Tourist more den local, as expected. The ticket was $20 and one lady approached us and gave us a cut out coupons (for local discount) of 50%. She was a nice lady and initially I tot she was trying to sell some tickets to us while we were queuing. Aft we had entered, took a tram ard the safari. The guide kept reminding us not to take any photo with flash as it will blind the animals as they r sensitive to flash light. I was not anything fascinating for the 45mins ride. Rite aft the tram ride, we waited outside the animal show @ 10pm. We were there 45mins early and it was a huge crow behind us. May b there isn't much for the tourist to explore in this night safari, quite disappointing I shld say, out 2 con the tourist? Perhaps.. =X
The animal show was interesting, c all sorts of animals which I dun really knw HW 2 spell. during the show, there's a acting session by the entertainer. It was abt a so called spectator, trying to look for his pets (actually a python). The entertainer was "helping" the "spectator" to look for his lost pet. Guess what? it was actually hided as plan, in the enclosed drain right behind of bench! Freaking big python! When the entertainer took out the python, dear was screaming like hell as I was trying to take video of it. Sadly to say, it was not clear at all. no flash again. =/
After the animal show, went for out dinner @ Bongo restaurant, Night Safari. Dear and I were complaining abt the fish and chip. It was very hard 2 chew on...chewing gum fish and chip? After the meal, it was quite late (11+) and i gotta rush back to my hse there to take the cake fr my hse in order to make it on time 2 spend with dear. I "cheated" her, saying that I jz wanted 2 give her present which she wanted 2 receive it on the actual day. She says she wants surprises. U c, gers wat. She wanted for me under the void deck and to give her SURPRISES, I took a lift to lvl 2, walk dw the stairs behind her and placed it on top of the telephone booth without her knowing. I then climb up the stair and went back to the lift @ lvl 2. Proceed down with her actual gift on my hand. Plot was well planned. The moment she saw the present, can c she's quite disappointing. Bt I told her im nt gonna give it to her and placed it into my letterbox. She was shocked i guess. I then walk her to the telephone booth and hehe..my plot works, she was happy. haha..went to the playground for celebration session and took alot of fotos with video. Too bad cant upload bcos there is some problem with the USB. Sianz..

I had rent car from my Brother’s and went to fetch dear at Pandan Garden, thereafter went back to dear house in order for her to bathe. We then continue our journey to Buckaroo BBQ & Grills situated at 12B Andrew Avenue. Before we meet up, I had actually search the address thru street directory. Abit screwed up bcos we nearly lost our ways to there and kept calling the restaurant to asked for the direction. We r late then scheduled time. But the food down there was nice, ordered American pork chop, lamb lets and deep fried button mushroom and root beer float. The pork chop was nice and tender. Lamb lets was normal and the mushroom was nice for the first 1 or 2, just a bit oily. Overall, the food was nice as it was previously advertised in Makan Sutra and Cohesion magazine. Dear was happy with the food so do I. Took some fotos with flash and a bit paiseh bcos people from there kept looking at us. Went to Cathay Complex to catch a movie but it was late so we went back to Farm mart for fishing the prawn. Dear again was afraid of the prawn aft I had fished some up from the pond. In d end got 1 in the net (3 is the actual figure) 1 of it was accidentally slipped and the prawn swim back to the pond and the other 1 was sink into the pond together with the net. Haha.. my fault. I had given that 1 pathetic prawn to people there. Dear was happy with the DKNY watch that I had brought her, and I reminded her to wear it whenever she goes. She was contended with the present. I rest myself peace. Luckily dear was happy in the end bcos its her birthday’s. I shld say I’m nt a good planner as well as entertainer but this event was of acceptable. Next yr I am going 2 give u more surprises k? my promise, ur pleasure.. =P

School Talk @ CCK Pri Sch
In my life, nv did I think that one day I might be up on the stage giving a presentation to over a thousand of students. 26/05/2006 @ about 1045hrs, I arrived at Choa Chu Kang Primary School, I knew that I will be the main focus for the day in the school situated at Choa Chu Kang Ave 2. There will be 2 sessions of Crime prevention presentation @ 1050hrs and 1300hrs. I arrived at the school hall, holding on bags of gift consisting of water bottle, mug and some little gift from my NPC. At the end of presentation, there will b a quiz consisting of a few qns. Back to the hall, groups of little boys and gers rushed towards me before the start of presentation. I suppose that they were having some PE lesson on the hall with some netball and basketball game. One by one shaked my hand. At one time I felt that I was a superstar attracting their attention. Yes, man in blue received a warm welcome.
I hold my breathe tightly as I proceed to the main stage, sch personnel was setting up the powerpoint with classes arriving the hall in order. To my knowledge, the 1st talk will be entertained by students of pri 3 - pri 6. 1200 of students awaiting my speech to be delivered. The atmosphere down there was tense when the DM handed over the mic to me. One thing on my mind was "no matter what, I have to deliver." I opened my golden mouth by greeting the students. "good morning to the students of choa chu kang primary school, I am glad to be here for a crime prevention talk, first of all I would like to thank the school of giving me the opportunity to be here. Without further ado, I will brief u on the content of my presentaton. But before I start on, lets have some question to be answer."
I asked them the exact location of cck npc, ramdomly, I picked some students to the front to answer the qns. Alot of students raised their hand, some was really cute. When I picked on them, they were shocked, some was in a shocked mode and kept shaking their head, and some eagerly rushed up to the front. I was surprise to hear some funny ans from the students. Some said cck npc located at jurong west, one of the girl even said its located at toa payoh. I replied to the crowd aft the little girl had answered. "CCK NPC located at toa payoh, is it possible?" Great response from the crowd and they yelling "NO NO NO". It takes a few students to ans before the correct ans was being answered. In the midst of it, the gift that was meant to divided in 2 sessions was nearly given out in a session. The response was overwhelming, was really surprise to hear that the students nowdays was more active and approachable that the past. time haf changed and they r nt afraid of us, instead they were jumping up and dw to ans my qns.
I have to be honest that I was having a good speech, consider that this is my 1st presentation, my officer priased me for that and I was so delighted. After the 1st presentation, I was totally not anxious at all when it come to the lower pri presentation. I had overcome the fear in me bcos fear is a feeling that r not needed to be feel of. Its was a barrier that stopped u fr progressing. I had overcome mine and im proud to say that the overall performance was worth well earning a round of applause. Thk u guys. clap pls... *Piak Piak Piak*
