Running became a part of my life

Today woke up at about 8.30pm, after my long night shift. I was wondering how am I going to sleep later. Went for my usual run and felt a wild bull of energy today. Completed 6km and pretty amazed with my consistent run lately.

Running became a part of my life, at least for the past one and a half year. I remembered that I started with treadmill in gym when my tummy was alarming big. Since then, I've never look back. My passion for running extended to the street and park at the vicinity of my house. When my interest grows, I started to take part in running event, from 10km Jurong Lake Run, 14km Men's Health Urbanathlon, Sundown Half Marathon to the recent completion of the ultimate Standard Chartered 42.195km full Marathon.

Someone who used to hate running to the core. It's quite strange how things can change, how I am able to transformed to a committed runner. Since 9th October 2012, I've covered 659km on land with 97 runs using my Nike running apps. I was wondering and curious how far is that distance if I were to travel from Singapore to another country. Research done on web and turn out that this amount of distance would only able me to travel to the neighbouring country Indonesia - North Sumatra Medan @ 630km. To better visualise the distance, Bangkok is 1425km away from Singapore. I am not even half done! Beijing is 4463km away from here, Tokyo is 5311km and my dreamland Madrid is 11397km from home...how far far away can that be.

I am not sure how long this passion will bring me to but I truly know that Ubanathlon 2014 is awaiting me on this coming Sunday on 2nd March. Bring it on 5101!

Stupidity

金沙 - 笨蛋 。

Quite a meaningful song which mark a period of my life. The way to genting, mark my last relationship. Stupid me.

Vision's position

Will there be time where you're so uneasy. Time where you don't know where to place the position of your vision when there are three beautiful ladies infront of you, in close proximity. It's quite embarrassing that you diverted your attention to your phone and started blogging your feel instantly.

That's the power of technology, to be able to pen down your thoughts whenever and wherever you want.

Trying to act busy as though you have some big business to do. Train's approaching the interchange.. Finally I'm able to breath some fresh air for now.

Morning rush

Today woke up just on time for work and I think it should be a long day ahead of me. Monday blue in the morning is always the killer. Desk bound till the night, how to survive when you barely have rest.

The lrt is so cramped when you can't stop thinking that the Singapore's population is ever-increasing. Somehow or rather I got myself a seat now after a stop from boarding. I thought I was so lucky in recent time. Looking at the commuter's faces, I was wondering if they have same shitty feel as me.

Having said that, staying public transport can be a blessing when this automated cabins are driven without any driver, that I'm able to diary down my feelings for that ten minutes. The luxury of not exhausting your energy when you own a car and drive.

Weight the pros and cons of owning a car, I'm quite certain that this little valuable things will be gone in life if I'm driving. Just my worth 5 cents worth of though in this beautiful Monday morning.

A long day ahead, should be able to scrap through.

Life

Nowadays I tend to blog a lot. I must be damn lonely and always rely on words expression to let out my feelings. Most people, at certain stage of their life, will tend to breakdown or emotionally unwell. That's life, full of ups and downs which make it interesting. I was wondering what determine our mood for the day.

Do you encounter days where you were so energetic that you are able to clean up the whole house. Days where you were so lazy that you snooze for umpteen times of 5-mins while awaking from sleep, days where you indulging the love or rock songs for the whole days because you're in the mood to do so. Can we predetermine our mood before the day start? That would be wonderful if we are able to do that.

But life is so unpredictable and I think the best way to live life is to imagine that was the last day of your life. You can imagine yourself as someone who's suffering from terminal illness and able to watch the sunset for the last time of your life. If you are able to visualise the moments to that effect, you will definitely treasure the countless days you are having now.

One day we will leave this place but the best way is to able to enjoy as much as we can while we are able to do so. The good old days will be long forgotten and we know it will come what may in time to come.

So what do you think of my mood now?
