Sleep more, weight less

Studies shows that people generally loss more weigh if they sleep more. Without enough rest, your body will create hormones to stop your body to burn more fats. Muscle also need enough oxygen to grow and this explain why you need to sleep more than normal.

Having said that, having to sleep before work became a hassle and to be able to sleep became a blessing in disguise. My mind is generally clear even I'm so tired. If this goes on, it will have a great impact on my mental order. It's not that bad for yesterday and I took 2 over hours for me to sleep.

Muscle growing and growing more as I welcome my half month (15 days!) of #noalcoholinmyblood.

Day 13 of #noalcoholinmybody

Poor running experience even after 8 runs in a row

Hit the road for 5km for my 8 consecutive day. I don't feel so much power to run and clocked a relatively poor timing. I could not hit below 30min for 5km and the last time I'd done that was in July. I just feel that I am struggling to finish the whole 5km. Will there be a day where I am able to finish off with ease and perfect timing. Not giving up and I will keep on trying and I am such a persistent person who never give up. Along the way, there will be ups and downs but the passion for running will never die.

Weight lifting from home

I felt that the weight lifting is good for me and trying to gradually increase the weight. Muscle is more tense now but I still hunger for more. Trying to find the break through in that field too.

My daily weights, weight lifting, running and no alcohol intake stats, all in one.   :)

Shock Therapy (Creatine) on the 12 day of #noalcoholinmybody

Brought this creatine @ nutrifirst.net, this powdery supplements will pump clean oxygen to muscle and to maximise your strength in workout. Took one grape ape flavor tub for trying and it somehow have some impact on my run. I really can't wait to get a lean body and a tone body mass. The process will take months and years but all I know is that I will keep on running to burn off the fats in me. It will not be easy but worth giving a try.

I can't believe that I was running for the 7 consecutive days (a week continuously!) together with day 12 of #noalcoholinmybody.

Day 11 of #noalcoholinmyblood

My mind gets hyper active especially at night. I managed to grab 2 over hours of sleep after much trying. Even I was totally exhausted, my mind seem to take random thoughts.

Heading to work with very minimal sleep. I think it's the effect of #noalcoholinmyblood that I can feel my metabolism increased in my blood stream. I thought I was immortal that I sleep very little everyday.

I have a plan today and was excited - run back from work. Should worth a try as it was a healthy way of living and save a dollar of transportation. Let's see how much energy I've left after shift.

Focusing on my 6th consecutive day run. Fighting!

Day 10 #noalcoholinmyblood

I thought i was lucky today that the bus came when I'm nearing the bus stop. I've rushed and board the bus. Wrong bus. After some distance, I crossed the road to the right bus stop only to see my bus left right before my eyes. Hard luck.

I realised my process to quit smoking and drinking are pretty similar. I did not declare to the whole world because I find it pointless, considering quit drinking is no big deal for most people.

I'm feeling good on myself, although weight is stubbornly not going down after 10 days. 5 runs thus far for this week which added up to half marathon of 21km. Keep on pushing yourself even when you're so lazy.

My dear tummy, when you are slimming down?
